& Again, & Again, & Again

I feel like this has happened before...

I think it's safe to say we've all felt a little like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Reliving the same day, the same way, over & over again. For a little pick-me-up, I wanted to share a few of my favorite ways to snap out of a funk and get back to reality.

BUT FIRST, COFFEE. I looovvveee my cup-o-Joe in the AM, or the mid-AM, or even in the PM :) I also prefer mom & pop coffee shops for their dedication to the detail of every brew. My top NYC picks include Ground Central, La Colombe, Bluestone Lane & Blue Bottle.

THAT BOOTY, BOOTY. It's no secret that I love a good workout. I think exercise is so crucial to our overall well-being, happiness & productivity. If you find yourself groggy, unfocused at the office, or feel like you can't give your work 100%, try going for a 20-30 minute walk outside. Research proves walking outside improves your mood, boosts blood circulation & lowers stress. Hello amazing benefits! Scoring some time outside also gives you the chance to reconnect with your thoughts & the beautiful nature all around you - no cell phones necessary.

MEDITATION: YES PLEASE. Taking time to connect your mind with your breath is so beneficial. It reignites a purpose in your soul and gives you a new spark to bring into your day. I love to use the Stop, Breathe & Think App or my Apple Watch to set aside a few minutes a day to close my eyes and just breathe. Sending positive vibes and purposeful air into my lungs, down to my heart & toes makes me feel recharged and ready to take on the rest of my day.
