How to Explore Nantucket in a Day

Hellllllllo to the cutest slice of Cape Cod paradise!

For those of you who have yet to visit this little island off the coast of Massachusets, it is exactly how you'd picture it: adorable New England style homes, an abundance of local seafood restaurants, and the cutest boutiques offering the cutest ACK memorabilia.

Richie & I were beyond excited for the opportunity to explore Nantucket & highly recommend it to everyone!

WHAT WE DID

With only a day's worth of time, our goal was to see as much as possible & experience the best of what Nantucket has to offer!

First on the list: rent bikes (adorable wicker baskets included) & sight-see! We passed the most adorable homes, the iconic Old Mill, & the OG Quaker Meeting House all the while saying hello to the friendliest of people. After our cruise around town, we enjoyed an Oyster-filled lunch at CRU - one of Nantucket's hot spots! The menu changes daily, but our recommendations include: drink- the Crucumber | appetizer- an array of Oysters |main- the lobster roll.

After filling our tummies, we took to the cobblestone streets off of Main Street & did a little shopping.

WHAT I BOUGHT

Nantucket is known for their wicker bags and boy did they have SO many cute options!! Although I didn't leave the island with one in hand, I fell in love with this company & plan to make an online purchase soon! Items I did leave with: the Lilly Pulitzer Faye Skort, a pair of CJ Laing lilac fanned earrings, & the comfiest Nantucket-branded sweatshirt.

WHAT I RECOMMEND

All of the above. Although a day sounds like a short amount of time, Richie & I had the most perfect day and wouldn't have changed a thing!

Happy Nantucketing.
