Five Fall Activities that Never Go Out of Style
Nothing says FALL more than comfy sweaters, cider tasting & a trip to the pumpkin patch!
I L.O.V.E Fall for SO many reasons!
The changing leaves, crisp air, fresh apples, and of course, colder weather = happier New Yorkers! If you’re a Fall-lover like me, then you know that there are several celebratory activities that never go out of style.
My favorite five:
APPLE PICKING. Honey-crisps stole my heart a long time ago, so the fact that I can go pick my very own basket-full every October makes my heart so happy!
CIDER TASTING. The ‘hard’ kind. Woodside Orchards, located on Long Island’s North Fork, is my go-to spot for the tastiest cider around! Varieties include pumpkin, cinnamon, and raspberry! PS they have the YUMMIEST apple cider doughnuts!
PUMPKIN PATCHING. Does anyone else have those memories & adorable photos of you as a kid visiting the pumpkin patch, picking out the most perfect pumpkin to carve or decorate?! In true honor to relive those moments, you bet a visit to the pumpkin patch or farm is on my list! I love admiring the variety of shapes, sizes, and colors + I love to snap a few shots to add to the photo album :)
HARVEST FESTIVAL-ING. All the above and MORE! The best part about a Harvest Fest: the CORN MAZE! Yes, they might be a lot harder than the movies make them seem, but I promise they are SO much fun. Perfect for a girls hangout or a day date!
PIE BAKING. After you’ve picked your delicious apples, what better way to celebrate the season than with a homemade apple pie?! I recently found the cutest pie pan at a boutique in Michigan and cannot wait to fill it with love. Need a recipe? Here’s one of my favorites!
There are SO many fun activities to do this time of year, but I’ll save my spookier recommendations for another post!
Happy FALL-ing friends!
