2.28.20, We Can't Wait to Meet You
Mark your calendars, we’re getting married!
The rumors are true! Richie & I will be saying ‘I do’ on our 11th dating anniversary - and boy we can’t wait!
Here’s a run down of all the details:
Wedding venue: the Pelican Club in Jupiter, Florida
Richie and I originally wanted to tie the knot in our summertime home of Newport, Rhode Island, but after re-considering our budget + location of most of our family and friends, we opted for our home state of Florida. Although Jupiter is a little north of where we both grew up, we fell in love with the ambiance of the coastal town as well as with the gorgeous brand new venue! Fun fact: I found this venue by scrolling on IG #southfloridaweddings!
Photographer: Erika Delgado
*insert heart-eye emoji* when looking at all of her gorgeous shots! I also found a lot of really pretty shots from local photographers on IG, but ultimately opted for Erika because I felt like there was no comparison in the emotions she captured between the couples. Words cannot express how in love I am with every single shot! Erika is exceptional at her craft & SO much fun to work with! Credit to all photos on this post!
Entertainment: DJ Vic Micolucci
Yup, we’re having a DJ! This was one of those no-brainer choices for me. Although it’s super popular to have a band entertain the night away, I’m often SO disappointed at the tunes I hear from them. Let me be clear - I am not saying I hate wedding bands or that their singers are not talented because they so are! If you know me, you know I LOVE to dance & I LOVE my Pitbull. Now, maybe somewhere out there there’s a group that can perform Timber or Give me Everything Tonight to a replicated perfection, but chances are that I’m just going to be upset it doesn’t sound exactly how I know it sounds when I jam out in my living room. Round winner: Hey Mr. DJ, put a record on I want to dance with my baby! Vic is a great friend and ex-coworker of mine from my News4Jax days, so he was an easy choice!
Flowers: TBD
I’m still not 100% decided on our flowers yet - but something’s in the works and once we know, you’ll know :)
Dress: Miss Hayley Paige
I am obsessed with my dress and cannot wait to put it on oh, so soon! Anyone else fall in love with something they never really thought they would? Yup, me too! I knew I wanted a Hayley Paige design, but I really kept an open mind in style & highly recommend you do your best to be open to all options as well! It really helps eliminate any disappointment and stress in not finding the right one for you!
Tux/ Suit: Indochino, TBD
We’re really torn on this! Although I want a formal attire event, Richie loves his suits and we both hate the black satin pant stripe. We’re also in-between opting for a dark navy or black as well. Either way, Richie & his mates will be getting custom settings from his favorite shop Indochino.
Now that you’ve got all the goods, I hope this information helps you narrow down choices or point you in the right direction! As always, I am here for YOU! From one bride to another, I’m happy to answer all your questions and help out in any way I can!
XO, Nicole
