She's Not a Regular Bride...She's a Cool Bride
And when I say ‘cool’ I’m mean reeeaaaallllly trying to remain cool, calm & collective over here…

It’s no secret that wedding planning is a ton of S.T.R.E.S.S thrown on your plate to eat up and enjoy! Yum, yum eat ‘em up! If I’m being completely honest with you, I haven’t done a great job of keeping my ‘cool bride’ face on during this whole process. Between the ever-growing list of deposits due, email chains to respond to & follow-up phone calls to schedule, my mind is constantly going in circles!
FACT: wedding planning is a full-time job.
Between balancing my actual job, trying to find spare time to blog, picking up babysitting jobs on the side for extra $, and oh ya, making time for my fiancé, I find myself day after day absolutely exhausted. I’m SO thankful that I have two amazing parents and amazing friends who’ve been helping me along the way! My advice when in the season of wedding planning: grab the helping hand that reaches out for you, cry on the shoulder that’s giving you a chance to let it all go, and embrace all the support sent your way. God’s grace is all around us, we just have to step back and see it!
When I step back & see His grace, I’m reminded that I’m about to marry my best friend and I can’t help but smile when I think of seeing his face waiting for me down the aisle. At the end of the day, the flowers will be gorgeous, the DJ will play great music, and the champagne’s going to taste great- I promise!
