Orange Theory: Friends & Confidence

Hi, my names Nicole and I’m an OTFer. I love benchmarks, all outs and I can now run a mile in 7 minute and 23 seconds. 4 splat points if you feel me!

To speed y’all up, I’ve been a member of Orange Theory Fitness for about 5 months now and holy guacamole, I’ve never, ever seen results this good before. Truth be told, I couldn’t be happier!! With our wedding right around the corner, I knew that I wanted a workout routine that I’d not only stick with for months, but one that I genuinely would enjoy doing daily.

Let’s back up a tad…

I’d heard the raves about OTF and even tried a class a couple of years back, but I hadn’t drank the kool aid quite yet. What I did realize after that first class was what a great workout I had and I loved the idea of competing with friends, so I asked Richie if he’d ever want to do a class with me. He said yes, but flash forward a year…we never made it to that class. Enter Richie proposing & his mom and sisters joining their local Orange Theory, I tagged along for a class.

I was hooked.

I knew immediately that this was exactly what I was looking for.

Now, every Monday through Friday I wake up with the sun to be on rower 14 @ 6:15a. I love my ‘rooster’ coaches so much and still can’t believe how much my body has changed for the better. I may never be an XS on the bottom, but I sure as hell have never felt more confident in shorts or a bikini. Not only have I gained a tremendous amount of self confidence, but I’ve also gained friends who have become family. I love their encouragement to show up every morning & the accountability I have to be there for them. Oh and the Westerlinds - they’re still attending class as well! We compete for the most amount of classes taken in a month + push each other to hit our goals! My personal goal for each class: 500 calories and 12 splat points.

So what are YOU waiting for? Give your local Orange Theory a try yourself! I can guarantee you won’t regret it!

PS. HAPPY HELL WEEK!

XO, Nicole
