THIS IS TWENTY-SEVEN.

I cannot believe another year has come and gone! A flash of twelve months and oh, so much has changed. It’s never easy to accept that life as we know it will never be the same as it is right now. Fact: our now is always fleeting & every single day we have is a precious gift. Recently this realization was put into perspective all too close to home when I received a call that my cousin had been in a serious car accident. We never know what day will be our last on this beautiful planet - but, we can control how we chose to LIVE.

I chose today & every day to live life to its fullest, to love so hard, to smile so big, to care how my actions impact others, to cherish time spent with loved ones, to be excited for what the future holds, to look for the good in people, to be the best friend I can be, and to be thankful for the life I was given.

I’ll take twenty-seven candles, please & thank you - and I cannot wait to see what this new year has in store!
