It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Sorry Santa, ghosts & goblins are more my taste. Bring on the re-runs of Hocus Pocus, endless decoration runs to Target, and all the candy in-between! Halloween has been one of my favorite holidays for as long as I can remember. The spooky costumes and the horror film marathons, plus the fact that consuming an abundance of Reese’s PB Cups is perfectly acceptable, makes me one happy girl.

Now that trick-or-treating & block parties are a thing of the past, how can a 26-year old girl get her Halloween-on?!

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS. Chainsaws & Jason masks galore! HHN is the BEST place to spend a night surrounded by scares of all kinds! Located in Orlando, Florida or Studio City, LA, Universal Studios closes its doors early to turn into the largest haunted house park around!

DECORATE FOR THE OCCASION. Making my home feel like a mini haunted house or a harvest wonderland makes my heart burst with joy! Pumpkin spice everything & Fall tones can be found in every inch of my home during this time of year!

CARVE & SIP. Pick up a pumpkin, a carving kit & a bottle of your favorite spirits - take your arts & crafts skills to the next level while carving the jack-o-lantern of your dreams!

VISIT SALEM, MA. Any Hocus Pocus fans out there?! I am DYING to visit this famous little town that stole my childhood heart. Top three attractions: the witch house, Max’s house & Allison’s mansion!

HOST A MURDER MYSTERY DINNER PARTY. Thanking my parents for this awesome idea! Interested in having your guests act as characters in a mystery murder during dinner? If so, this is for you!

BOARD GAMES & WINE. Making a comeback from the 90’s, I love a good night of board game competition! Best spooky games: Clue, Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on the Hill.

HEAD TO THE THEATERS. Just in time for Halloween *literally* grab your girls or date & head to see the newest Jamie Lee Curtis horror film, HALLOWEEN.

JACK-O-LANTERN BLAZE. Visit this historic Hudson town for a night of awe & spook! The great blaze is one of the seasons major attractions in NY.
