Falling For Fall
*Sips pumpkin spice latte*
Fall is officially in full swing - minus the whole colder temperature thing. You may call me basic, but I am all about the sweater weather, PSLs & plandids in pumpkin patches!
Recently, my boyfriend & I took his grandparents to this adorable South Hampton all-things-fall spot called Hank's Pumpkintown. Hank's has it all! From apple picking, corn mazes, fresh baked cider doughnuts & of course a patch of bright orange pumpkins to pick from.
After our visit, I did some research into what other near-the-city seasonal activities there were to enjoy during this beautiful time of the year!
APPLE PICKING. One of my all time favorite things to do when fall rolls around! Depending on the orchard you go to, you'll either have the option to pay a flat rate - in which you can fill as many apples as possible into your bag - or pay by the pound.
CIDER TASTING. Apples + alcohol = perfection in a pint! It's also a great way to support local breweries in your neighborhood.
FALL FOLIAGE. Because this only happens once a year, get outside and take in all the golden, ruby hues - you'll be happy you did!
VISIT A THEMED BAR. Ghouls & ghost love to socialize! Sanatorium is by far one of the coolest NYC bars I've been to! With a menu that resembles a patient's medical file and cocktails poured into syringes, how could it not be?! Also worth checking out - costume themed events!
HAUNTED HOUSE/ GHOST TOUR. If you know me, you know that Halloween is my favorite holiday, by far! What better way to get in the spirit than to visit the spirits of the dead? If you're a history buff, book a tour to learn about the secrets & myths of the most famous city in America.
Happy Fall-ing!
